If you’re going to a party:
Unless you’re going to a party where the host is keto, you’ll want to prepare yourself to ensure you don’t fall prey to eating “carbage.” Here’s how:
Ask your host if there will be keto-friendly foods there.
If not, eat before you go so you don’t arrive hungry, and/or bring snacks and treats so you’re not deprived.
Scan the party provisions for keto-friendly snacks.
Charcuterie, cheese, crudités (think broccoli, bell pepper, and celery, not carrots), deviled eggs (sans breadcrumbs), chicken wings (without sweet sauces) are all good choices.
Drink keto-friendly alcoholic beverages.
