Tyler Cartwright

Tyler comes to a ketogenic by way of having weighed 505 pounds at his heaviest, and having lost 295 pounds in the process of defeating Type II diabetes, regaining health, and rediscovering his zeal for life. He spends his time these days teaching others how to overcome the obstacles and barriers which resist change, and how to achieve goals and outcomes which have eluded them thus far in their lives. He runs a number of bootcamps for beginners and novices, which focus on resistance training, motivational discussion and debate, and a healthy deal of honest conversation. His clients, in 2017 alone, have lost nearly 30,000 pounds, and (as he often points out) have added years of quality to their lives for the sakes of children, grandchildren, spouses, and employees. Tyler’s areas of focus and interest are human nutrition and bioenergetics, the psychology of change, and the marriage of the two. Tyler is married to his wonderful wife Jamiee (who has lost 127 pounds following a Ketogenic diet herself), has one daughter, and a rambunctious Labrador retriever.
