How Do Ketone Urine Test Strips Work?

  • Last updated October 5, 2020

Keto-Mojo Ketone Urine Test Strips are for single use, at home self-testing. The test strips are used as an aid to check for ketones in urine.  The ketone body measured in urine is acetoacetate. The test stick is a firm plastic strip onto which a Ketone test pad is attached. If the test is positive, the Ketone test pad produces a color change from beige to dark purple (refer to the color chart on the vial label for more information).

The ketone strips are intended for use by people with diabetes and/or people on low-carbohydrate diets. This product is not intended for diabetes management.
