How Do Ketone Urine Test Strips Work?
- Last updated October 5, 2020
Keto-Mojo Ketone Urine Test Strips are for single use, at home self-testing. The test strips are used as an aid to check for ketones in urine. The ketone body measured in urine is acetoacetate. The test stick is a firm plastic strip onto which a Ketone test pad is attached. If the test is positive, the Ketone test pad produces a color change from beige to dark purple (refer to the color chart on the vial label for more information).Â
The ketone strips are intended for use by people with diabetes and/or people on low-carbohydrate diets. This product is not intended for diabetes management.
I bought the test strips and I have no idea how to use them. There is supposed to be some kind of beginners guide and I don’t see where to get that. All I see on the web site is info about the meter. I’m very disappointed!
Explain the color chart
I can’t believe that I have to even say this, but this should explain what the colors mean. This is where that answer should be.
Como utilizar las tiras para medir celosas e interpretar lis resultados
I have the test kit and just started keto diet 7 days ago. Should I be at 0 or 160? Directions aren’t clear at all
The color chart tells me nothing.
Looking for information on what the numbers mean when reading the test strips
There is nothing but numbers on the bottle, it does not tell me if I am in ketosis. What color should it be?
