Shirley’s journey to Keto-Mojo has been fueled by a deep passion for helping people achieve better health outcomes. She was drawn to Keto-Mojo’s innovative spirit and their commitment to making the ketogenic lifestyle accessible. She finds it inspiring to see how a “kitchen table” idea has grown into a worldwide movement.
Her previous experience with the California Department of Public Health’s Tobacco Control Program, where she worked as a librarian, instilled in her a strong appreciation for the importance of data in driving wellness initiatives. As the regulatory and operational lead at Keto-Mojo, Shirley ensures compliance with regulations for the company’s in-vitro medical devices, covering areas such as labeling, marketing, and post-market surveillance. She also maintains relationships with regulatory bodies, including the FDA, Health Canada, and the EU CE mark.
Shirley holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and is currently spearheading Keto-Mojo’s expansion into key international markets, including Australia, New Zealand, India, Mexico, and Brazil. In addition, she is driving ongoing global market research to further extend the company’s reach and impact.
