What You’ll Do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS, including services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3.
- Manage and optimize our WordPress website infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments for our web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Monitor and manage Elasticsearch, microservices, and other backend systems to ensure uptime and performance.
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, providing on-call support during off-hours when necessary.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration between infrastructure and application development.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
Who You Are:
- A DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience managing cloud-based infrastructure, preferably on AWS.
- Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Skilled in managing and optimizing WordPress websites, including plugin and theme updates.
- Experienced with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI) and automated deployment pipelines.
- Familiar with backend technologies like Python microservices, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with self-managed workflows.
- Willing to be on-call for critical system issues during off-hours, ensuring system availability.
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
